Jedward. At first, I hated them, but eventually grew to love them on the condition that once the public stop loving them, and they're in the bottom 2, the judges get rid of them. I've even joked that once all my faves go, I'll support them as long as the public do.

Now this year has been awful for me, I've liked every act to go, Kandy Rain were my fave group, Rikki was amazing, Miss Frank were incredibly talented, Rachel was so unique, and Lucie had a great voice and definitely suited the pop/rock genre. The only acts left I like now are Lloyd, and Stacey [eh, Jamie+Olly are ok but I wouldn't support them otherwise].

I don't generally mind the odd 'novelty' act as it isn't just a singing competition. However, when you put it in perspective, Lucie had way more talent and reason to stay than J+E. It's awful how Simon cast her off and I think he'll begin to regret it, as the public are known to take their anger out on certain acts, so I wouldn't be surprised to see J+E, or any of the over 25s in the bottom two.
Also, bear in mind Lucie's voters have to go somewhere, and I think it's safe to assume they'll go between Stacey, Lloyd and Joe.

The X-Factor was about finding genuine talent. It's not just a singing competition, it's about the full package. You can get by with a decent voice as long as you have charisma, likeability, stage presence, something that makes you unique, and something that can take give you a successful career in the music industry. It's starting to turn into a complete joke of a cheesy karaoke competition. I'm a huge X-Factor fan, I've watched all six series, I still support the acts I liked from each series, but despite it creating huge potential stars (Leona, Alexandra, Shayne, Diana, JLS, Laura, Ruth, Brenda, Niki, Maria, Hope, Rhydian etc) whom have all experienced a taste of success, some more than others, it seems to be distracted from that.

I totally agree with you Darenn. It is becoming a joke. I miss last year when we had probably the best final 12 out of any singing competition the UK has ever done. And yeah, fair enough if they want to put in a novelty act to boost the ratings.. but I would have thought the judges would have gotten rid of them at the first oppurtunity.. especially as we are going into week 6. This is worse than the Laura White scandal by far.. at least Laura went home to someone that could actualy sing amazingly.
I hope that the next 4 out are John and Edward.. and then all of Simons 3. Stacey to win for me now.. Would be happy with Joe or Lloyd though?

So Pathetic that Simon took it to dead lock.
He really did think the public would of voted out Jedward but it obviously backfired.

Poor Lucie, So talented and she lost to them 2.

Btw, I dont think Lucie fans will support Lloyd, as he should of went long ago but you might be right about Stacey and Joe.

Cant belive it was Just Saturday when Louis told Lucie she would be the last girl standing, and would be in the final.
And now this happens

I have to disagree about him thinking the public would have gotten rid of J&E, he knew people were voting for them, come on of course he did, it is his show!!

He wanted to get rid of Lucie because she's one of the best singers and a potential threat to his acts and keep the ratings high having J&E still in there.

She probably wouldn't have won but why is that rule there then??? Chances are that anyone who is in the bottom 2 won't win anyway but If the judges aren't going to use that rule the way they're supposed to then why not just let whoever has the lowest votes go instead of making them "sing for survival" and then ignore who did the better job?

Well, yeah, Simon should have gotten rid of him last week too. then him & J&E would be gone and there would have been all decent singers left, the way it should be!

I would not really mind if Olly, Jamie or Joe won.. (meh)

I really don't want Lloyd or Danyl to win but eventhough they have been in the bottom 2.. I fear one of them could win.. would be a travesty!

That's true, none of the winners were ever in the bottom 2.
Judging by this logic; Stacey, Joe, Jamie, or Olly will win.
Saying that, it's obvious Lloyd/J+E won't win, and I can't see Danyl winning [I think he's capable of second though].

Yeah possibly, JLS came second last year and they were in the bottom 2. I think Olly or Stacey will win, I really don't like Stacey though so I'm hoping for Olly!

you are not wrong.. JLS came 2nd and were in the bottom 2 once.. however I am not relying on past statistics.. I am just a bit paranoid.. I want Lloyd and Danyl OUT in the next 2 weeks please

Well, whether people like Danyl or not, he does have a good voice and deserves to stay in based on that!

he has a good voice.. yes.. but after I watch his performance it leaves me a bit.. flat.. this new vulneribility to him is boring.. and I didnt like that he had his hands in his pockets through purple rain..

I watch the x factor to be entertained.. more than anything.. I dont really care who has the best voice. This is why Jedward entertain me and Stacey entertains me with her personality and Olly is entertaining with his penguin dances!

Of course, I mean as crap as I think they are, it's not their fault they're there and of course they're going to take what they can get! Simon was so wrong to have not saved Lucie last night.

But I don't agree when people says there nice guys? Do people remember them in the auditions? so rude and stupid in their first one then they ruined that other girls chances.

Yeah, I'd say they're little ***** actually. I thought that was so wrong of them what they did to that girl at bootcamp
