No offence to Joe or anything but I'd rather see a non-X Factor number one for a change. They have dominated the xmas charts for several years. About time someone else got a shot at number 1 even if it's only for 1 week.

Because its NOT Fair, if Joe goes to #1 which he will, it will be because he was voted the winner of Britains most famous talent show.

Why the hell should these idiots go to #1 with an old song, just because they woke up one day and decided they wanted more money.

Bitter, and I for one would rather see an XF Act or a complete diffrent artist being Christmas #1 for the right reasons than these selfish old bastards.

I only gave my opinion and I respect your opinion too.

However, 95% of all the X Factor first singles are all covers. So technically THEY are also releasing old songs too only sung by a different artist. The song chosen by the Facebook group founders probably wasn't a great choice and would have been better if as Enid said it was an actual Xmas song but oh well.

To be honest I don't care, the Christmas number 1 has never been an award for being musically superior.

I prefer Killing in the Name of as a song though so I guess that.
