But it's how you use it that matters. Imagine this: you work you ass off at work by making money to get a promotion. You're clever, nice and never complains yet you didn't get your promotion but your colleague did. Why ? Because he managed to use his brain to get further than you by having less good performances. If people get promoted for the wrong reasons - then maybe the company isn't one worth working for. Maybe the intelligent guy would realise he was better off - and end up with a better job somewhere else!
