Just saw it on This Morning, I really hope it doesnt over-take CBB as apparently it is launching at the same time as CBB, I like Dancing On Ice but much, much MUCH prefer CBB and BB.

That program is God awful imo. It's bound to get coverage on This Morning/GMTV because they're on the same channel.

Don't worry, I think that Celeb BB gets covered by Sharon Marshall on This Morning usually so all is not lost (rumoured to be going in etc etc).

whatever happens it is going to get higher ratings than Big Brother anyway.. it is one of ITV's main reality TV shows.

DOI should launch the week after.. they will get higher ratings but I think CBB willl get decent ratings, well I think they willl if Boy George is in it.. if he is NOT going in then I think CBB might be a bit ****ed.

They will not be going on Celeb BB. Not as official housemates anyway - I just can't see it at all.

Nah I don't really watch Strictly. Dancing on Ice is 1000 times better than Strictly but CBB is still better than Dancing on Ice. Just pisses me off when 2 shows I enjoy watching collide but I will be watching DOI on repeat then because CBB comes first

Dancing on Ice is only on once a week isn't it? every Sunday?

Dancing on Ice gets more press attention because it's a bigger and better show than CBB. Fans of DOI love it, and it gets millions more viewers than Big Brother.

Big Brother is a terrible mess. It's the least popular reality show on the main channels. It's a joke to most people and a laughing stock. Hook Nose McCall said in an interview recently that people look down at her because she presents the show. I'm not surprised. She's a horrible woman presenting a horrible TV show.

BB used to be a wonderful social experiment, where nice normal people were chosen and no gimmicks or wannabes were in there. Even the wannabe series until BB7 were good. But since then the producers have completely given up, giving us **** series after **** series. And the last straw was removing the live feed, the heart of the show. The show's dead without live feed. They might as well have ended it after BB9.

Who cares about Boy George.
Hes not even going in anyway.

They dont need him, they need Peter Andre and Jedward and big names in the UK to boost ratings or even just people who are actually entertaining.

Dancing on Ice begins 10th January - and of course will get coverage on This Morning - they have the same hosts! Celebrity Big Brother has rarely been covered to the extent of other celeb shows anyway, apart from series 4 - and that was mainly on Richard and Judy - and of course the race row.

They're separate beasts though, but the results show (9.30-10pm) will clash with BB (9-10pm) on Sundays.

The first eviction show is going up against the DOI pre launch show. Of course DOI will get more press attention, about 8m more people watch DOI!

For once I actually agree with a bit of what you've put. Live feed aside, BB9 felt like the natural end point of BB. It was a straight forward series and was pretty much well received, and CBB6/BB10 felt like it was unnecessarily drawn out. BB9 felt like the show had come full circle and couldn't really go anywhere else.
