Default Over 4 million watch CBB finale

For those who don't follow the rating thread, last night's show attracted just over 4 million viewers.

How many watched BB10's final? Wasn't it like 2 mill? Doubled the viewers - awesome!

It is excluding +1 as well... with +1, the second show could get 4.4m+ and the officials could even have it break 5m.

BB10 overnights including +1 got 2.9m. So basically, CBB is about 1.5m up on BB10s final and 600,000 up CBB6 final.

The officials should see a big increase, which like i said could break 5m, if this does happen, then it would have beaten BB9s final as well and be close to BB8's finale which i think got 5.2m.

It pisses me off how many people watched the BB8 Final and it was ****.

I would love for CBB7s Final to be beat BB8 because CBB7 Was obviously far better than BB8.

At the time the BB8 final was the least watched ever by a huge margin

BB1- 9.5m
BB2- 8m
BB3- 10m
BB4- 7.2m
BB5- 9m
BB6- 7.7m
BB7- 8.2m
BB8- 5.6m

4m (probably about 5m once +1 and officials added on though) was a great figure for last night because of the previous few series' but at the time BB8 had a truly awful rating.

Yep BB3 averaged 5.8m as a series, that 10m was incredible, but tbh in 2002 EE was getting 18m+. Theres more channels, so everything dips.

But what Im happy is that CBB7 has stopped the continous decline and has increased from the previous series, which hasnt been done since BB6-CBB4.

Its Channel 4's highest ever rating

At least they're in a strong position for BB11 launch- should at least equal least years 5.1m

Yep it is, i think the full rating was 10.04m... never in a million years would you see that again for C4.

But for the BB11 final do you reckon people will continue crawling back. I mean if 10m watched the BB3 final, do you think that BB will come anywhere even near to that considering its the last ever.

For the BB11 final i hope that a huge chunk of people tune in. 7m+ would be a brilliant way to end the shows run. However i find it unlikely.

CBB7 tailed off a bit in the middle so even though BB11 will be the last ever, its likely to launch with about 5m, average at about 3m and finish with about 4m. Going back to even BB8 levels is too unrealistic, at best they can hope for BB9 but I think more CBB6.

I agree, with the potential for this series final to be near 5m in the officials, we could see 6m+ for the launch.

Think about it, 2.9m watched the final of BB10, we all dreaded what CBB7 launch would get, and it got 6.2m,,, that is a lot of an increase. BB10 ended negatively IMO.

CBB7 has ended positivley, so i reckon BB11 launch could even beat this years launch, as it ended on more of a high than the last 2 series have.

It didnt tail off it was probably due to the scheduling on that 3rd week when it was on at like different times every night

It's done quite well, Maybe it's not too unrealistic to think it'll come back.

Pretty good, especially considering last year's awful ratings.

We found Gordon Ramsey's crapola better than HL shows TBH - was a fight for remote to see if any Movies on 10pm

With multi- channels C4 has disappeared virtually - can't remember last time we've ever used ITV
