Exactly. I don't buy the "I don't care how he/she looks" because that's bullsh!t and it's been proved by many sociologists that people tend to date people they find good looking, it's then natural order of things.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and beauty can be a lot of things. Personally, my type of girl as far as looks go are blonde, blue eyes and smaller than me. I like her having a dancer type body (oh wait, it's exactly how my ex-girlfriend is and how my current girlfriend looks like...a bit less lol). But for personality, I need a leader, sometimes who has strong opinion and views, who is classy and intelligent. I hate girls who are always scared or don't know what to do and have no opinion. It's not right.

But it happened to me to talk to someone who is less my type but I had a lot of fun with so I'm open minded really.

Personality's majorly important otherwise you're stuck with wallpaper, nice to look at but *****ing dull as hell. Looks are kind of important to me but I wouldn't go out with someone on looks alone. When it comes to looks I like girls that are individuals really, I can't really stand the glamour look and such (so basically anyone in Patrick's signatures I probably wouldn't like ). I haven't really explained it that well.

If you're obsessed with the looks of a prospective partner, then it's a fairly safe assumption that you're quite vain about your own appearance - like attracts like.

Looks only matter as much as you put them on a pedestal. I only get excited about people with a personality I like; there are plenty of superficially attractive people out there.

I see what you're saying but you still have to find someone attractive in order to have a physical relationship with them, they don't have to be super models but you have to be attracted to them

Then if you see them more you need to get to know their personalities.

Generally looks are more important at first, but then personality is as if not a slight bit more important after the first time you meet them.
