I presume this is because left handers are frequently adapting to the right hand world so the brain develops particular skills.

I'm left handed but I can't do nothing with my right hand except using the scissors. I don't feel comfortable using it, it feels like I've got no power in this arm even though I've got muscles. I know it's hard to explain but I guess you might see what I'm talking about

My car has its ashtray on the right so it annoyed me at first but then I created my own ashtray on the left side because I couldn't keep passing my cig from one hand to another without having an accident.
