i wrote a poem a while back on trains with no drivers (i also put this on this message board)
trains with out drivers i was listening to a speech from a blond balloon, and every time i see Boris Johnson, i think buffoon. he's suppose to be the mare of our city, so why is it all i want to do is give him pity. no one can take him seriously as he is a clown, to encourage driver less trains will pull us down. yes it may save money but whats the implication, i can hear the terrorist now, egging on this creation. with no one in control, safety it dose compromise, do hundreds need to die before we all realise. trains need drivers, like our city needs a new mayor, is anyone listening, dose anyone care. they replied with this Dear Joe Re: Poetry Thank you for your email dated 15 January including a poem you recently wrote. I found it most entertaining, and am grateful for the time you have taken to send it to us. By means of reply, I hope you will enjoy this poem I have written. It should be noted that this reply is my own, and does not reflect Transport for London’s own values. I sit here this morning, far from serene, The Mayor’s photo beneath my screen. I think of his wit and haphazard style And find that I am forced to smile. They said he wouldn’t, they said he’d fail But he secured funding for ... Crossrail! He’s done wonders for traffic flow: Utility companies will pay as they go. He’s clearing up London’s Streets, Achieving great de-cluttering feats. Not only that, he’s fulfilled the dream: Unveiling the Cycle Hire Scheme. London is cleaner, safer too, And, I must admit it’s true, That his crazy hair and Eton guffaw Make me want to cycle more. So next time there’s an underground strike I will remember there’s lots to like. It should also be noted that, regrettably, TfL may not be able to comment further on your poetry. If, however, you should have any queries relating to the Mayor’s transport-related schemes, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you once again, and I hope that the information I have provided will prove useful and interesting. For more information about TfL’s services, please visit our website so i replied with this a poem to London transport from the Joe dear heather Godwin i send my praise, because i now have a smile in my email box that can not erase. so you have the buffoon beneath your screen, that's environmentally damaging and not at all green. you often wounder about the buffoon and his whit, what have you got in your eyes, is it ****. OK cross rail may be a success, but i can see the over all picture of London is at a less. you say travel is good, i say its gone through the roof, i look in my wallet, no money is the proof. as for the streets and all this recycling clutter, how i wish we could go back to normal rubbish collection and close the shutter. the cycling scheme maybe good but is it going to work long term, Barclay's maybe there sponsor, but will it be a life long germ. its not cleaner and no-re are we any safer, are you crazy, terrorism is now a crime which means none of us can be lazy. you remember next time theres a strike and let the people no that suffer on the front line, and i am sure you will get a response so diffident from mine. (not sure what you lot think of all this but the joe is in fits and i love getting replies lol as i always hit back and twice as hard lol is there anyone else that finds this stuff funny or do i have a warped sence of sick humour? speak now or for ever hold it in ?) |
