Default IMDB Top 10

1. 9.2 The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
2. 9.2 The Godfather (1972)
3. 9.0 The Godfather: Part II (1974)
4. 8.9 The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
5. 8.9 Pulp Fiction (1994)
6. 8.9 Schindler's List (1993)
7. 8.9 12 Angry Men (1957)
8. 8.8 Inception (2010)
9. 8.8 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
10. 8.8 The Dark Knight (2008)

Do you think it's fair Top 10?

The top 3 are near enough Spot on for me.. Inception is a bit to overrated and shouldn't be anywhere near the Top 10 same goes for the Dark Knight as well. Maybe Pulp fiction is a bit to high up as well top 20 maybe..

haven't seen the Godfathers yet but fair enough.

I'd only really protest about Inception, The Dark Knight and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The first two aren't even Nolan's best, and OFOTCN is a bit high for an adaptation :/

I'd pick a different 10.

But I'd say out of those there Pulp Fiction is my fave.

Inception shouldn't be there or The Dark Knight. Both painfully overrated

I havent seen the good the bad the ugly or 12 angry men yet.

On the other films, Inception is the most over rated film after Avatar.

I think its a fair tope 10, One flew over the nest shouldnt be there though i think.

I depends on what we all think is a good movie.

Yeah, people seem to forget this sometimes!! Yeah, I like some on the list I agree with Shawshank being number 1, It's my second favourite film (after Dirty Dancing but I wasn't expecting that to be on the list! ) To be honest I wouldn't have put must of the others on the list bar maybe Inception and Pulp Fiction but then that's just my own personal taste.

I agree with Braveheart, Dirty Dancing, In Bruges and In the Name of the Father. Haven't seen Cold Mountain or Whitnail and I. Fargo and The Godfather were good but not my most favourite films and I hated Titanic and The English Patient with a passion!

I agree with a lot of it although I'm not sure if they're in the right order and I'd get rid of TGTBATU, 12 Angry Men and Inception and put City of God, Fight Club and The Silence of The Lambs in their place.

I don't really like war films anyway, I barely remember it now, the only memory I have of it was waiting for something exciting to happen, I was convinced it would eventually seeing as it won all those awards................but it didn't

Avatar, Notebook, Dirty Dancing, Top 10?

I'd rate Avatar about a 5/10 at best
