It's not that long ago that you would have one lonely and sad gay and a few (straight) sympathetic/patronising friends. Having an Equal Opportunity attitude means more than having a 'token gay' in it.
Would you say there are too many blacks or asians in a soap? No, because that would be seen as racist. |

There are more than a dozen gays on my street! Two in my house & next door but one a pair of lesbians alone, so quite realistic in an urban street actually...
Do you live somewhere out in the sticks or something? As you may get less gays there (we like fabulous cities) probably only one per village...
