She wasn't rude to the fan and politely accepted it. What she says in what she thought was a private moment is irrelevant. If any of us was handed a gift we didnt like we would say the exact same thing. No question.

If she were a cow she'd have been rude to the fans face.

Can't believe people are getting wound up by this non-story, considering all the stuff going on in the world. Threads like this make me wonder why 'news stories' was ever combined with 'serious debates'. This isn't even a news story, it's celebrity trivia.

I have to say also though, we have hydrangeas in our garden at home but its something I would never think of giving to someone,or lilies,without knowing or just having an idea they liked them first.

Shows how little you know about other forum members then Zippy.... I am actually is a HUGE Madonna fan.

Difference is: I have the ability to actually accept when someone I like has overstepped the mark as far as disrespecting her fan/s is concerned - I don't stumble along blithely ignoring when they screw up and make a mockery of the people that put her where she is.

I'm entitled to start a thread if I wish Zippy, without you doing nothing but coming onto it to state how silly it is or I am, for calling her cow etc....for giving my opinion.

No theyre publicity events. But you can still have a private moment within one. She was away from the mic and it was obviously just meant to be heard by her friend. Again, she was polite and gracious to the fan and that's really what matters.

Precisely...they are not private.

She ws not away from the mic otherwise it would not have been heard.

She was not away from the cameras otherwise it would not have been captured.

She should have kept her mouth shut until she was in private. It's that little known thing called 'respect' (seems she's all into respecting herself and to hell with obliging others with a little of the same)

She should have known to keep quiet until it was all over, surely the one thing she should have learned over the years when it comes to fans is subtlety.
