Default Selfish intentions or not, at least Jay & Louise actually got a present

More than can be said for a certain mr moody bollocks

Alex & Tom were both really happy so its a win-win all round. Only he could spin a negative onto it

Easy to do when you have 19k between you

The gifts on offer were actually HALF of the money Aaron actually has.

Plus they are just stupid...BB said those were the 'mid-range' presents...so clearly there was a lower range to follow.

If Aaron chipped in then it would have been about £300, less than a third of his money. And they said they're splitting it when they get out anyway, so that point is blown out of the water

But in that case surely BB should have offered the lower range to Aaron

Of course they should. But they wanted drama. Which they got

The HLs tonight would have been crap without all the arguments

I'm sure if Jay & Louise hadn't have gone behind Aaron's back (to try & make themselves look good & Aaron bad) then BB would have kept offering cheaper & cheaper presents, which actually would have been funnier if they would have got them a £5 bath set from Boots or something

Agree they should have realized. It occurred to me when they first went into the diary room !!!!!!! Did this happen on a previous BB ?

And as we know those presents that is all they will get. The £50.000 is lost as they have the winning order wrong.

jay and louise have spent their own money the ONLY thing they did wrong was not consult aaron. that looked a bit silly. they knew though as hed been in twice hed say no.
I think louise mentioning the £500 twice was cringeworthy and also aaron was bemused as tom thanked him.
I think all 3 looked prats in different ways .....louise mentioned the money didnt consult aaron - prat jay less so but didnt consult aaron and later lost his rag -prat
aaron endless pouting ruined yet another occasion. BUT to prove I am a fair man overall Id say aaron came off best out of this situation. for once he pouted for a legitimate reason. trouble is when you cry wolf 50 times you lose credibility

after tonights fiasco Id say tom came out looking the best.

Nope...though the excuse will be that they had no money then.

But if they were really as thoughtful as they would like us to believe, they would have made him something. IIRC Jay didnt even make his best mate one of those cards that hes so good at crafting :'(

Had Antons birthay been in the final week though, then Im sure it would have been different

In such an environment such as the Big Brother house, two months feels like two years, so no, it actually makes sense. And it's actually the thought that counts, but as usual, no one wants to give any appreciation to actual kind deeds in the house.

Anton was crowned as the rightful King of the house on his birthday, that is much better than some silly watch or pair of shoes

What's the big deal!? Aaron said to Jay and Louise in the diary room "I'm not spending that much you guys do what you want". So why is he going on about them not consulting him?? He is just worried that it puts them in a better light so of course he has to twist things around and say they did it for the cameras blah blah blah.. I'm surprised everyone is 'shocked' they spent that much money...remember they came into the house with nothing! They all have $10000 in their pocket whats $500 less when you never had it to begin with? Am I the only one who see's it like this?

You think Jay and Louise will split theirs....if they are sneaky enough to do what they did over the present then would you trust them to share their money....not as far as I could throw them!!!

I feel that Jay and Louise's attempt to pull a fast one on Aaron by sneakily trying to come across as 'much nicer people than him' backfired on them!
Aaron was the only one being 'real' (as Louise keeps claiming to be).

Lets face it....on the outside world, Jay and Louise would'nt even give Alex and Tom the time of day!....let alone £500 each!

Aaron was correct to wait for BB to fetch the Argos book out!...But the sly plastic-showmancers couldnt wait to try and pull a fast one....and ruined what could have been a good occasion enjoyed by all with Alex and Tom being just as happy with more realistic gifts!!

You are not the only one and I wholeheartedly salute you for being one of the (seemingly) only few who watch the show to see everything exactly as it is. I cannot believe any of this is even disputable. Aaron said No, so Louise and Jay decided to do it because they are charitable nice people, Aaron did not like the fact that others may be perceived as better than him (as he is jealous and hungry for the money), and now everyone is turning against philanthropists and coming up with all sorts of conspiracy theories to defend the meanest housemate of them all, Aaron, against quite possibly the friendliest two, Jay and Louise. It's just ludicrous and makes me lose all hope for society if people in this world are easily susceptible to such unfriendly tactics.

kinda the whole point of big brother.... you know, bringing different types of people from different walks of life, together, in one house...or is that concept lost on you...?

you have got no proof bb would've brought out an argos book.

trouble is, one person on here will assume something like this and the rest of you will repeat it like its fact.

agreed up to a point. BUT I think they should told aaron they were going back in. thats all that weasel aaron needs is half a chance to strop and moan and slag everyone of to cameras all day long and he milked it all night

aaron simply milked the situation himself. he accuses jay louise of playing to the cameras when thats all hes done for 10 weeks. even tonight he pouted talked to the cameras ruined 2 birthdays callously, sneaked into the diary room and stuck the knife in. he didn even own up to tom the presents werent his.
