Default Is 50K really life changing?
Does it depend on which part of the UK you live in?
To me life changing means you can give up work. I don't think you can do this on 50K.

isnt life chnaging at all. i blew 60k in just over a month.
though could be if you spent it more wisely than i did lol

50K does not change your life, it helps pays bills really. Not even enough for a decent downpayment on a house. Plus is this the amount they pocket? or do they have to pay taxes on it?
