Horrific R.I.P. to them.

Shame this has spawned so many "ugh only one exit!?" comments rather than any form of empathy for those lost, but such is to be expected from comfortable Britons.

Shaun

One Exit would be Illegal here
for so many young people

And yet they are Not talking
about changing their stupid Fire Rules.

That Stinks

It will happen again

I would imagine everyone feels empathy at such a tragic loss of life but the simple fact is if there were more adequate means of escape we wouldnt be mourning such numbers.

..yeah but you get Shaun's point though..whatever the reason those poor people are dead, which is the most devastating thing....the rest of it/reasons will be picked over again and again in due course...and hopefully put right so it never happens again....

Absolutely agree Ammi but it is always made more tragic when such loss of life could have been avoided. But as both you and Shaun have rightly said our thoughts and prayers should be with the victims and their families. RIP

I only mentioned how there was one exit because it adds to the horror of it all and because if true it's a factor in why this was as tragic as it was, I don't think that trying to understand how this happened takes anything away from the sympathy felt for the victims

I can't see anyone who has not been sympathetic to be fair.
