So Matthew who told us she got 14 warnings in the first week is mistaken.
BB when asked by journalists about the 14 (at that time) answered "no comment" instead of saying "that's not true"... made a mistake.
Helen telling the others that she has to shut the **** up now ...made a mistake, because why would she say that after one warning .
Everyone is wrong regarding her warnings ,she only has the one !! Okay then .

Helen Wood gets fourteen warnings from Big Brother?

Big Brother 2014 Power Trip: launch night one - Helen Wood
Helen Wood has racked up a whopping fourteen warnings on her first four days in the Big Brother 2014: Power Trip house, it’s reported.

According to The Daily Star, producers have hauled the salon owner to the Diary Room on several occasions to tell her off – although they refuse publicly reveal what she’s done wrong.

A representative for Channel 5 declined to comment when asked whether her misdeeds were homophobic, racist or sexist in nature.

However, the newspaper added that chiefs have decided not to take further action at this stage.

Helen has apparently told the housemates about her warnings, and is quoted as saying: “I’ve done it again, 14 strikes! I’m in trouble, I’ve been told already. Just being a t*** – I need a filter!”

The 27-year-old is currently guaranteed a place in the Big Brother 2014 final after ‘power housemate’ Pauline granted her a pass to the end of the series on Friday night.

But both fans and housemates have speculated that she may lose the prize, with Matthew Davies remarking yesterday: “It’s way too good to be true.”

Big Brother continues tonight at 9.00pm on Channel 5 with the latest highlights show, followed by a ‘live surprise’ special at 10.00pm.

Probably not a changed person but I feel like many others who go on BB,she will have learned a lot of things about herself good and bad.
Also feelings she may not have known or let go of in the past too.

She will have learned too from the warning that some behaviour is unacceptable but she took that on board and perhaps in the past, were she to be talked to like that outside, she would have just really likely blown up about it.

I doubt she thought she would find such a strong supporter and friend in Ash too,as well as a couple of others as well.
She clearly has learned how to hold her temper, although she still cannot resist getting digs in where she feels they are necessary.

For me however was the female power week, there she showed considerable and admirable restraint when she realised she had been ganged up on following Ashleigh's really nasty devious and vindictive act against Ash.
Helen wanted to spare him being up for eviction and was left stranded by all around her in the end and her acceptance of that showed a totally different Helen for me.

So yes she has had a journey, she has I think tried to take on board situations and as someone said on another thread, housemates who leave, apart from matthew, have near all said favourable things as to her.

I wasn't keen on Helen at all in the first weke or so but slowly she has impressed me and won me over, she will not win but she has gained one very special thing from her time in the house anyway.
That is a truly great and loyal friendship as to herself and Ash and all the money in the world cannot get you genuine friendships like that.

I kind of think that anyone who goes into bb goes on a journey. Whether it affects them after they leave is another matter. I think Helen has learnt some lessons. I know I find here much better now than when she first arrived.

When Ash gets out and finds out she was Rooney's ***** he won't be seen for dust.
He has needed her in the house and imo used her to get by the noms ,he caught on very early that she ran the gaff.

To be honest I don't think Ash will have much to do with Helen even without the Rooney thing.

..I think Helen maybe is learning something but I don't think that her 'journey' if she has started it in the BB house, will ever reach it's destination there because she still has far too little self awareness or empathy with others who aren't her 'friends'..empathy with our friends is the easy one, it doesn't take that much effort but putting yourself in the shoes of your 'enemy' and people she doesn't like is something she needs to do when she speaks to them in the way she does and knows herself how sensitive she is to these things or any criticism...she's a working progress, or I hope she is, it would be nice to think this experience has made her think about things more...

..but in their ways, they've all gone on a journey, something like this must make a difference in your life, whether it be a short termed one or a lasting thing...I think Ashleigh has as well..I don't think she was spiteful/nasty or vindictive at all in her manipulation in the Power girl thing, she simply played a game like Marlon did and like they all are and it didn't work out and I think she has learned from that as well and learned to also be a bit more tolerant and maybe take time out to spend a bit more time with her housemates getting to know them and not isolate herself so much...maybe that's a throwback of feeling isolated when she was bullied, who knows...

..it's been an exhausting house to watch so must have been horrendously so to live in and I think they're all finally reigning in their judgements of each other a bit and actually trying to get along and get to know each other better..will it last..?...probably not....

I would consider gaining a good friendship from my time in BB as the real prize, only one can win the big one as to money and often the wrong people do so in every series of BB anyway.

I also think Ash is a really decent guy and for him to have befriended Helen and stuck by her as to her credit she has also done as to him, is one of the nicest things to have been seen from this series.

At least, you know where you are with Helen and Ash,unlike Ashleigh in particular who I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw her.
With Helen, if I crossed her,I would likely get a foul mouthed rant and a full blown argument with her but at least I would be in no doubt what she thought of me.

With Ashleigh for instance, I would need to be a mind reader or be able to hear what she said all the time to others behind my back, with her never daring to say things to my face.

As you and I agree on, Helen has a great prize already with her friendship with Ash,I hope it does continue outside the house and somehow I think it will.

Helen has now changed her behaviour simply because her 'gang' are down to two full time members and one floater, they are a minority in the house, and she knows full well they could be picked off one by one by the rest of the HM's who were continually in her sights over the weeks that have passed.....She could be in the final with-out Ash, or maybe Winston, but I think Winston will be there with her.....

I don't think it's what I'd call a journey - probably more like an afternoon stroll.

27 years old and she's learnt that she's judgmental - which of course is a great thing to learn but really - does indicate that the barriers she has to self perception appear to be enormous.

A return to friends and an environment where nobody challenges her behaviour and attitudes and she'll probably forget about it and return to her habitual way of responding in all probability.

She'd have to have a reason to really change long term - but maybe she will have one.

No way, she's acted a like a dick the entire time she's been in there, we're only getting a watered down version now because of how many warnings she's had.

Ash has been attached to Helen's hip since the beginning as he realized she was someone whose good side you needed to be on. He hasn't much of a personality of his own and can you imagine what we would have seen of him if he wasn't always by her side?
He's so laid back and boring he's practically comatose. Helen gives him some relevance.
There have been times when Helen was being a bitch where I've seen a look on his face that said "What the hell have I got stuck with".
So he could be using her. It's no skin off my nose if they became lifelong friends, but I don't think that will happen.

There is 1 other aspect to Helen's 'journey' they aren't feeding her with as much booze to try keep her mouth shut. The nasty side still slips out and I'm sure we are never shown if she does turn into Mecha B!tch

If it wasn't for Helen's 'nasty side' as some call it,we'de be watching paint dry, most of the other housemates storylines are centered around her aswell.

That may be true - however it may also be untrue.

Helen's aggression may have suppressed quite a lot from other housemates that we may now never see. She may have inhibited a lot of stuff that could have been very entertaining.

Then again maybe not, in which case BB did a bad job of selection.

So you like her nasty side....
The HM's storylines are only centered around her inasmuch as how she has stifled and destroyed their experience and to what extent they have managed to rise above it. Ashleigh did it best, that is why she's a big fave.

No,Ashleigh is liked because she is young and pretty, people can deny that all they like,if she was fat and ugly, she wouldn't be so popular , I didn't say I liked her nastiness, but don't forget your little princess also has that side to her, but hides it well, and sorry it's bull**** that she has destroyed their experiences, she's good but she's not THAT good, they are all adults not kids.
