How dare someone campaign to stay in the game? This is something that has drove us pretty nuts about Cody throughout “Big Brother 16.”

The man is one of the biggest complainers out there, and overnight, he spent quite a bit of time bemoaning how Victoria was actually trying to speak with Derrick about getting a spot in the final two. There have been numerous incidents of this already, and many of them have included tears or explaining how hurt she feels over the existence of the Hitmen. Derrick has tried his best to calm her down without really showing his cards, but based on how he’s not really guaranteeing anything to her, we feel like he is pretty confident that he will take Cody to the very end if the opportunity arises for him to do so.

Cody’s frustration seems to be mostly coming from the fact that Derrick has not stripped Victoria completely of hope, and maybe that also comes from him not really understanding the bond that these two have. We do feel like Derrick does really care about her and doesn’t want to make her upset, but he’s in a position right now where blindsiding Cody would probably lead to way worse ramifications in the jury house, especially with all of those threats earlier in the game that whoever takes Victoria to the end should automatically lose, just based on principle. You’ve already got egomaniacs like Caleb and Frankie over on the jury, who are probably each having a very hard time dealing with the fact that she is still in the game.

If Victoria won that would be a funny ending to an awfully dull season.

I would not be surprised in the slightest if he took Victoria to f2. He's playing Cody like a fiddle because he doesn't want him to take Victoria instead of him, and as dumb as Cody is he probably would take Derrick.

'The Hitmen' is nonsense. It doesn't exist. Derrick is just using it to his advantage so his f2 place is secure.

Derrick's smart to take Cody over Victoria because he'd have the win secured (the undercover cop thing alone will probably give him enough of an edge to win over someone who played the same game as him.. then there's also the more moves / more control over each week, etc.). Then he doesn't have to worry about the possibility of a bitter jury, which is really the only way he could lose this season and he definitely knows that. So I think he truly means it when he says he wants to take Cody.

Cody needs to take Victoria to win but you can't blame him too much for thinking he played an equal or better game than Derrick & with a strong finish. Derrick's mastermind game has gone under the radar with everyone else before Cody as well.

Anyway, there's literally nothing wrong with this. Getting mad or annoyed with redundant campaigning, especially this late in the game, is very common in BB.

I notice there's a lot of nitpicking from a majority of people on here when it comes to Cody and "bad character traits." There's seriously not much wrong with him besides maybe some little annoyances that are hardly even worth being addressing because things like that can be found in probably about 3 out of 4 houseguests every year. He's not going to go down as even a below-average character on Big Brother. Maybe an unmemorable one, that I personally liked and will remember because of that, but as far as negatives go it almost (pretty much) ends there.

"It's very common in BB" isn't exactly a good defense considering that most of these people have huge character flaws. I was actually talking about this earlier with someone else and I'd say that about 10% of BBUS HGs at most could be classified as good people. This show is just a magnet for horrible people.

And the idea of "how dare you play the game and fight for your life even though I've been playing you the whole time" is disgustingly hypocritical and self-righteous and annoying and I really don't think I need to explain what's wrong with that sentiment. But in case I do, that's the same **** Frankie pulled 25/7 especially with Zach. Whenever Zach did something, Frankie would get all butthurt and get upset with him. But if Frankie did it, it was okay because "we're playing Big Brother, Rose!!!!!"

I think I'm the only one who's been super vocal about how much Cody sucks, and that's because it really hasn't been stated enough. His only character traits are sucking up snot every 10 seconds, whining about every ****ing thing under the sun, and talking about how he's going to call someone out and put someone on blast and then doing nothing at all. And like I mentioned in another thread, he bragged about how one of his favorite past times is going to bars and clubs and hitting on women he knows are married or are in relationships because lol that's so funny. When you factor that in, that makes him look even worse regarding the Christine thing ("sorry Tim! I know this is wrong but *pulls Christine in closer*) and ya know, straight white male with ostensibly good looks so it's all Christine's fault and we're going to add a special segment to the show where her own family slut shames her on national television.

Also, I don't really care about gameplay and how good or bad someone is, but Cody is frustratingly dumb and he ruined my enjoyment many times. Getting rid of Brittany served no purpose for his game and meant that we'd lose her instead of Caleb (who distrusted Cody because of the Amber thing, and just the fact that Caleb was insufferable with the Amber thing), he decided to not do the world a favor by using his HoH to get rid of Frankie and then got frustrated when other people wouldn't (even though, ya know, he literally just had the opportunity to), and now he's all Hitmen 5eva and just confirmed that I thought all along, that he had no individual game outside of Derrick and is pretty much playing for him to win. Like I said, I don't really care how bad someone is at the game, but I will have a problem when they constantly make moves that don't benefit them at all and get rid of better HGs.

In short, I've seen a few posts about how people like Brittany and Amber are nothing but pretty faces, but that sentiment applies most to Cody. He has a rep of being "nice" and "funny" and other positive personality traits but he really hasn't been any of those things. He's a bland, vaguely douchey, str8 white frat boy who gets praise for mediocrity. The only good thing that will come from him bringing Derrick to the end is that his dreams will be crushed. He'll be downgrading from 500K to 50K and soon will realize that as dominant as the Hitmen might have been, they lack any sort of charisma and camera-presence and were nothing but a C-plot in the episodes at best, and come BB17 nobody will even remember the name "The Hitmen." And then he can go back home and do his weird incestual **** with his dad and tweak his nipples and slap his ass and whatnot.

lol i dont like Cody either but damn that was a rip. having feeds and watching someone suck snot is really annoying. sometimes that enough to dislike someone. not the only reason i dislike Cody but above all of it was mentioned as to why i dont. made me feel like i just sucked snot myself. the worst was when you're eating something watching and the cam switches to him when hes doing that. plus the nasty smacking eating habits of several of the HG this season. the 3 left along with Frankie were horrible at that. didnt like Caleb either but at least at some point that crazy delusional psycho bitch even told em they were nasty with the table manners. pretty sad he was the one to bring it up lol
