It's a good thing I'm not a parent

If a child liked something that doesn't exist, I wouldn't tell them it doesn't, like Santa, if a child asked you if Santa was real would you say no? there's nothing wrong with a child believing in nonexistent things.

at least when the child is an adult they wont get bored to death by people telling them that they have seen a santa..

No. Not even sure about going through with the Santa thing when I have a kid... I remember being pissed off when I found out he wasn't real, I didn't understand why my mum would lie to me

The santa thing is different as it's magical (although I know Joeysteele will disagree). I am still a bit gutted it's not real.

I think what I told my kids was that I didn't believe in them because I have never seen any proof, but they were welcome to prove me wrong

To be honest, my two kids were more concerned about the two pixies that lived at the end of the garden that told me and Santa if they told any lies..worked wonders.

If my Niece or Nephew asked me I'd scare them by saying they're real as I like being a fun Uncle to them.

If I was to have a child myself however I'd probably tell them no as I wouldn't want them having sleepless nights.
