Yes they're so decent they're siding with someone that backstabbed his friend.

You just can't let go on the 'backstabbing' thing.

It's like that saying..."You can't see the forest for the trees".

I do admire your fortitude, though. You really stand strong for what you believe in no matter what. Reminds me of James.

Because his getting away with something that no other Housemate in the history of Big Brother has ever been able to get away with (even Pete Bennett had to have Tourettes to get away with his behaviour) And haha at James standing for what he believes, that's good Comedy.

Fair enough...there's probably truth to that...but I don't watch the other BB's. I only watch CBB.

The last few series of CBB had some pretty vile people that got away with a lot because their 'friends' wouldn't turn on them....and yet when they get out of the house their so-called friends are embarrassed for supporting them and end up turning away.

It's refreshing to see a housemate finally sticking up for their principles and daring to go against a friend when he's done something wrong.

If James had turned against Austin for no reason, I would be whole heartedly behind the 'back stabbing' theory too...but he did have a reason. It's not as if they were lifelong friends. Austin did behave badly, you can't deny that.

James didn't turn on Austin because of his own morals though that's the point, his doing it to try and look good in front of the public and because large sections of the public fancy James and hate Austin they're willing to accept any of his bull**** that his trying to sell.

It's absolutely disgusting how people will twist what they like and dislike in certain contestants in any given year, just a few months ago we had Cristian and Danny being abused for behaviour that was not as bad as an unprovoked James backstabbing Austin.

That's were we disagree. I believe James did turn on Austin because of his morals.

Yes...it was perhaps overly pompus and egotistical morals...but it was his morals, in the end.

Jenna really tried to get James to turn on Janice as well and when he realized that James wasn't going to stoop that low...she panicked and is desperately trying to convince Austin that he was a game player.

I think Austin, deep down in his heart, knows that James is not a massive game player, which is why he keeps asking/forgiving him.

I think all the housemates were shocked that James nominated Austin when they've been best buddies throughout the whole series. Yes I can understand why James felt he needed to, as a friend, tell Austin he was going too far with Janice but I don't get why he felt he needed to nominate him when he's apparently the closest person to him in there? I mean that he took it upon himself to punish his friend on someone elses behalf I suppose it depends on how you view things like this. For me loyalty to my friend would top punishing them for how they're treating someone else. It looks bad on james I think and I think the other HMs are slightly wary of him because of it eventhough they might have wanted Austin up anyway
