The advert is raising awareness for Age UK (charity for lonely elders) with the tagline "show someone they're loved this Christmas" so yeah this is pretty much obvious.

...I guess that it had a lot to live up to with the hype etc.../just taking it in it's own right though and not comparing it to the previous ones, I like it....obviously this one is focusing on the elderly but the general focus on those who are alone at Christmas, is a good one and children are great at giving those thoughts and wanting to make some gesture if they can ...

I think its very realistic to highlight that some people are lonely at Christmas, It is a bit more punchy than previous ads and make us think of unpalatable truths
