Default When your Parents Let you Play Your Music in the Car

Does anyone else have memories of when your parents actually let you play your music in the car on a road trip. I have so many memories of the battle for the stereo on a family road trip. and when I got t play my music i remember being so excited. and i remember being so interested in what my parents reactions were.

I still remember certain songs just based on me playing them for my parents and their reactions...

Did you guys have similar experiences?

although i claimed to not care what my parents thought, the truth is i loved making my parents listen to my music, and i enjoyed seeing their reaction whether it was good or bad. And i especially loved when my parents liked a song i played. i loved when they were like "well that one wasn't so bad"... of course they could never full out admit they liked a song, but I could tell when they did.

It's my music or nothing, I connect my iPhone through bluetooth and can control the whole entertainment system through it *evil laugh*

I like to seat in the third row so they would have stop the car to make me stop playing my music.

...hawwww actually I'm listening to some of my son's music atm/music he gave to me from his teenage years...I always loved listening to their music..I think it was just also though as a parent, yes we'll listen to some music together for a little while and then 74 days later, they would stop playing it...once they had that attention and interest, those guys were not going to stop until you flopped....

..great times though.....
