The X Files returned to British TV with CH5's highest rating for a drama launch in 7 years.

An overnight audience of 3.17 (14.2%) tuned in at 9pm to watch the Sci-Fi drama.

It is CH5's highest rated show since CBB15 launch and their highest rated drama launch since FlashForward in 2009.

It's been getting good ratings in the US, but the reviews haven't been very good.

I haven't watched it yet.

It might have been that they are good, but they apparently expected them to be much better than they were.
