I agree with this tbh. The only time I have ever said this statement is untrue is when Danielle lost BB3 due to the jury not being sequestered. The fact that jury lockdown was brought in for all subsequent seasons just shows that Danielle was the true winner of BB3.

Half of them did not make the final 2. Ones who did, played poor social games and failed to gain the juries respect. People think to win Big Brother you need to win competitions or being a strategic mastermind, when sometimes it is just treating the jury with respect. Reason why Danielle lost is season 3, she came across arrogant in the DR's and mocking the evicted houseguests who would make the jury. People can blame they should have been sequestered, but Danielle knew the people leaving would vote for the winner, so her mockery of them was unnecessary; she KNEW they would be watching.

Most win by default because sadly the BBUSA/BBCAN (well not really the latter) is flawed and heavily manipulated by production. Like Jordan was not the greatest HM in her season and I believe Jessie and Lydia were paid off to vote for her and stuff like that.

You dont have to be in f2 to be the best player of the season every single player i listed made it to the point where your gameplay didnt matter (f4-3) only comp wins matter.

I would've voted for Victoria to win out of everyone in f6 when she has probably the worst gameplay out of anyone in her season does that make her the best player.. no it is just because i am a salty bitch.

bb2 will is the most over rated player i have ever seen(but he was the best one in bb7) he was not even a good player nicole was far better then him, she survived the first eviction where nobody liked her and she was in majority every single week since then.

bb3 I actually think Lisa is an above average player but she was nowhere near danielle's level

bb4 Alison was a better floater.

bb5 Diane easily controlled the season, Nakomis was also really good

bb7 Boogie followed Will

bb8 Even with disgusting america's tasks like vote to evict dustin, give jessica a silent treatment when she was hoh etc. he made it to f5.

bb14 Dan was far better than Ian jury was just salty

bb17 Steve was a bottom tier player, he only had some comp wins he seriously sucked at the game. Voting to evict MEG over Julia who was in an unbreakable trio shows how he sucked at the game. Vanessa had a big part in almost every eviction, also Liz made it to f6 with her boyfriend plus her twin.

Oh my gooosh, there shouldn't even be a discussion. If you make it to the end and win, you're the best player of the season. If someone wins bc of a bitter jury, that's the other person's fault for making the jury bitter. If Porsche opened the Pandora's Box which resulted in Rachel saving herself and winning, it's Porsche's fault for opening it.

I loathe Dan Gheesling and Derrick and Boogie but that's personal reasons and nothing to do with gameplay. They won a season, meaning they played the best game. That doesn't mean they played a perfect game, but the best one in the season.

The only case in which the winner doesn't have the best game is when its 100% due to rigging. Basically in BB8 Grodner rigged AP for Evel Dick and basically threatened people not to target them and didn't even open a vote for Eric using the veto just bc it could have resulted in Dick going.

Also being a gamebot who talks game 24/7 like Neda or Mitch doesn't make you a good player either

Agree, its not like Lisa played a horrible game, she is a very under-rated winner. I mean Danielles only shot to win that season was to go to the end with Amy, she would have probably lost to Jason as well.

I agree with you on others bar season 11; Kevin and Natalie was more deserving, and it was embrassing Jordan beat Nataile, clearly the better of the two. And I dont agree with Liz, she did nothing but follow instructions, at least Steve made descions (people will say he made bad ones) but it got him further in the game. Again like season 11 it would have been an embrassment if Liz won 17, when all she did was open her legs all season.

You admitted you would be a bitter jury member, thats up to you. Most of the time you get lucky with Juries, other times you dont. People say Dan was robbed in season 14, others will say he screwed over the jury too much

Yeah i wanted to point out the fact my vote wouldnt change the best player of the season. I think luck is the most important thing in big brother, thinking of other side of the argument if steve voted out julia, liz could've voted him out in double eviction. He got lucky in f6 when he won hoh(it couldve been a challenge wasnt suited for his skills), rachel got lucky with pandora's box, derrick got lucky because he was casted on a season 15 stupid players etc etc.

Will's BB2 game is arguably the best of all time. He threw every HoH comp in a season where there was no such thing as a PoV to save yourself, went on the block FOUR times and only had one vote cast against him. He told everyone he'd lie to them the entire time and did, constantly breaking promises he made to Hardy and Nicole yet they still kept him around. That is testament to one of the best social games ever played under the North American format because he relied on that alone to make it to the end, and he did. Nicole played well but she wrongly trusted Will on far too many occasions and rightfully lost.

His BB7 game was great too but he made a fatal mistake in overplaying at F4 and getting too cocky with Janelle and it cost him a second win, had he stayed he'd definitely have won again. Boogie used Erika to his advantage - rightly or wrongly, however you want to see it - and ended up taking it as a result.

the idea of "there's no gameplay after F5 and it just comes down to comp wins" is just incorrect? Do a good job of setting yourself up well for the end game and whether you win or lose the comps it shouldn't matter.

Also, while I personally would have voted for Liz to win over Steve and "think she played the better game" or whatever, her jury performance was probably the worst ever () so it makes sense why Steve got the most votes to win.

But I agree, I think it was debatable either way between Steve and Liz until the jury questioning. At that point, it would've been kinda embarrassing to not give Steve the win.
