Default Refurbished computer went BANG this morning
Only had it two months. Turned it on, and it went BANG!

And some smoke.

Rather scary.

None of it.

I opened the case up and wiped the hard drive. Not for the porn but I had bank details, passwords, on there and some photos of family and friends. Didn't want the company seeing them.

Yeah i was thinking about a million compensation.



3 months.

At the very least you need a 12 month warranty on the next one

That would be nice, but I don't think they give 12 months warranty for refurbished. I could be wrong but they all seem like they're 3 months.

Also, the manager has been pretty good. He said that I shouldn't bother returning the one that went bang. He's just gonna send a replacement.
