My mum was there for two weeks before and she didn't get called once so it was very likely it'll just be a waste of time but if not then just do what you have to do I suppose.

I think if it goes on longer your work has to let you have it off and you can claim to get your wages if your work doesn’t pay you

Yes, but I have rent to pay every month. So if its longer than tow weeks I'll tell them I can't go anymore.

When they ask you if you have read anything about the case say yes, then you will be bumped off...(not literally of course, unless it's huge drug trial where the jury members are at risk )
