Ugh, Maria's always been ****ing dire.
There's a core group of people that drag this show down Michelle/Fiz/Maria/Sean and they seem to be above sacking. You can tell Cotton is not liked and they don't think he's got the talent as he's never given any plots. Yet, they continually employ him. He's either shagging the head of ITV or gets dirt on each and every new EP the show gets. Last edited by Marsh.; 09-05-2018 at 07:32 PM. |

Just thinking back over the past so many years and basically Maria's sole purpose has been to be a bit of a slag? ![]()

Michelle was brilliant when she lost her baby but everything before and since she always makes me cringe at how bad she. Kym Marsh seems to only be a capeable actress when drawing from experience which imo makes her a poor actress.

Great ep apart from Carla, whose completely emotionless performance was totally unbelievable

It's all showboating that's why. Hair perfectly styled, make up on point whilst she folds her arms, poses and pouts. All about Kym.

Carla is an Ice Queen, she won't show emotion now because she'll want to be the support but as the funeral draws closer she'll start to grieve I think.

SOME people react to grief in the way that Carla did, they just go totally almost "robotic" and emotionless, like as if they're in auto-pilot. It usually hits them days/weeks/months later and massively, I know people like this.

Actually, I thought it was classic Carla. She’s always dealt with her emotions like that, and the last thing she’d ever do when her family needed her would be to be unable to do anything because she was too messy herself.

I personally think the acting across the board was great. Eva and Johnny were AMAZING
It was important they shown the different reactions people had, especially the ignorant exchange between the factory girls |

Did they disclose how he died? Other than him being found in the bathroom?

Im glad Beth's "suicide is selfish" bull**** got snapped up but "man up" should've been called out on more. Not like the moment called for it but part of me hopes they take apart that awful phrase and make a point about stereotypes

I think it was cute how Carla didn't show emotion? everyone has a different way of dealing with this type of stuff and not everyone shows their emotion, some are in denial, some are robotic and some cry. It wouldn't have been realistic if they all had the same emotions.

![]() Ive definitely seen Carla's grieving in the people around me more often than other grieving too. It'll be nice for it to be shown as okay, not heartless |
