But again, if you're looking for racism you'll find it, even when it's not necessarily there. "exotic blood" could certainly suggest a racial undercurrent, in turn it could also suggest her 'american ism' Our press are dramatic to say the least, anyone outside the British Isles could easily be considered "exotic" by our sensationalist press. It's this strange Island mentality we have.
Im not saying it didn't have any racist undercurrents, but it's fair to look at this from every angle.
Their child would have been hounded by our press, problem is he'll also be hounded by the LA press too. Very, very strange place to set up home when you're 'wanting out' of the limelight, but that's been covered to death.
