Honestly BOTS unless it's very different from school to school or has changed dramatically in the last couple of years this has not been my experience at all. My eldest started high school this year and her Primary School experience was extremely familiar to me as it seemed to be really no different at all to my own Primary School experience (in wonder years of 1990 - 1997). Quite bizarrely so in fact given the 30 year gap between the two. So little has changed

Like I said though maybe that's not typical? My daughter did go to a rather "quaint" school where the "poverty line" was a lower-middle-class income.
