I don't think it's man-hating, but I do think it's disingenuous, hollow, meaningless trash. Latching onto something as serious as abuse and sexual assault for no other reason than to sell their product... it's soulless. It would take a HELL of a lot to make me believe that Gilette actually gives a flying **** about anything more than their bottom line. That's just not how large companies work. They're about $£$, not people, full stop.

But then, I also feel utterly nauseated at every John Lewis bloody Christmas advert and most people seem to love them so... I guess the marketing works. Blergh.


(Also I assume Gilette are struggling at the moment because realistically who clean-shaves in 2019? ONLY sexual predators so they really are going to alienate their core market)
