There have been plenty of unfunny comedians over the years and they don't get food thrown at them for it.

And controversially I can understand people being more angry and frustrated at a Politician who can have a negative impact on your life over a Comedian who told a set of jokes I didn't like.

Preferably neither scenario happens, but to me they're not comparable.
