Kim Jong-un hasn't been seen for a reason and that reason is probably that he is dead or close to it.

I agree, if he was in good condition they would have shown him to be in good condition... if he was in even OK condition they'd have dressed him up for a short appearance to make it seem like he was fine. The lack of information is informative, on this occasion.

Also SK for diplomatic reasons have to say that they believe the official NK line, until it's proven otherwise.

Regarding assassination, it's possible but there has been some suggestion that the surgeon was probably under armed guard and had been threatened to not **** up... and thus, was panicked and shaking and ****ed up . I also read a rumour that he had a heart attack at an earlier date and was supposed to have the surgery immediately, but it was delayed for too long and he had another more serious heart attack before surgery.
