- Man launched into expletive-filled tirade at woman on the leafy Bristol street
- She said that she asked because 'we have lots of car crime on this road'
- Man said: 'You think I'm robbing my own car because I'm black? Get out of here'
A woman has been accused of racial profiling after she asked a black man sitting in the passenger seat of a car and looking in its glovebox if he had stolen the vehicle.
Stopping her bike on a leafy Bristol street, she walked up to the man to query the car's ownership - causing him to launch into an expletive-filled tirade.
'You think I'm robbing my own car because I'm black?', he shouts. 'Shut the ******* up and get out of here. Racist.'
The woman responds that it is 'not about race' and that 'we have lots of car crime on this road'.
The 60-second clip has gone viral on social media, and has been viewed more than 1.2million times. Its caption says the man was cleaning the seat when the woman approached him.
