Instead there were many celebrities there who had never even met Meghan and some who had never met Harry either. It was all shallow showboating.

Meghan isn't little Miss Innocent and her extended family all scum. IMO It starts with Meghan being an arrogant, manipulative ruthless snob with a cold heart as she still is to this day.
Considering that the first impulse her family seemed to have was to make money off of her, it's no wonder why she chose to not invite most of them. She's known them for longer than any of us, after all, if they weren't invited to either of her weddings, then there's a reason.

Turning your back on toxic family members is not a bad thing, and her family have shown themselves to be incredibly toxic and opportunistic. If any of us were in her position, we'd be lying if we said we wouldn't do the same.

Finally, if that whole side of her family is toxic as seems to be the case with her sister and father then that's not on her, they are toxic because they are toxic and it's just ignorant to place the blame for their behaviour on anyone other then themselves. I do not think you would hold the same views if we were talking about anyone other than Meghan Markle.
