But I don't appreciate that our leaders can just walk into places and play Legos with taxpayer money on a whim. I'd rather we rebuild here and focus on becoming a better example for ourselves. For instance, we need to show each other we can heal our own divisions before preaching to others. That said, I don't feel a need to prove anything, but I do very much want to leave a more peaceful future to our children.
