The real trouble arose when he apologised or was attempting to, and she tried to further explain to him why she found it so offensive, which he then seemed to take as her twisting the knife further and lording it over him. That's when things went way off the rails for them both.

Yes THAT is the moment it really went downhill .. he could/should have handled the situation far better

That said we don’t know his mindset at that moment .. he had just been given a serious shock / warning by BB … he was presumably upset / annoyed/ confused / jet lagged / anxious being surrounded by everyone and maybe if JoJo had waited an hour or so to ‘educate’ him then things could have been soooo different
