Do Sundays feel more like a void or rest at this particular time in your life?
Sometimes the slow winding down of Sundays (as-per the very nature of the day) can feel like a welcome break from the more hustle-and-bustle (or at least heavier on entertainment-options) tone of Mondays to Saturday, and a lot of people take solace and sanctuary in that, sure. But others (like me), especially when you’re in a period of your life where you’re wanting movement, progression, updates and change (which Sundays can feel like the anti-thesis of), that liminal temporal space on Sundays, coupled with the complete lack of anything decent to watch on TV (even Songs of Praise is more of a morning-thang; it don’t fill a whole day), can just make it feel like a complete waste of a day, a necessary evil, a chore to get through rather-than a day to be savoured and quietly (or otherwise) enjoyed. Where do you fit on the spectrum? That’s the question.
