Investigation launched as France’s Right-wing condemns cancellation as
‘submitting to Islamist ideology’ ![]() Threats from young Muslims have forced a Paris suburb to cancel an open-air screening of the Barbie movie, prompting prosecutors to open an inquiry. The cancellation has fuelled a debate over how fundamentalists among the country’s population of six million Muslims are seeking to impose their vision of society on the French way of life.
