Guy's hear me out please? I'm really deeply saddened by this and it makes me quite emotional.
I was in Iceland on my way home to pick up some stuff I seen on the I'm A Celebrity sponsor adverts such as The Mini Cake Towers. I passed a aisle where they had 'Frozen Turkey Dinner' and it made me so upset. I just can't stop thinking that some people actually aren't as fortunate as us. Whilst we are all sitting around the table with our dinner, opening presents and watching Eastenders and stuff like that, Some other people are sitting in their living rooms with no families or loved ones, probably sitting with a little turkey dinner they've made in the microwave and are probably watching the news in the dark before going to bed at 7 all alone. And then of course you think of the people on nights like tonight where it's freezing and they are homeless whilst we are all in warm houses, and if you think how some of us are actually cold in our houses with the heating on, think how cold those poor people must be in the street corners alone in the snow and stuff with nowhere to go. I'm almost in tears here at the thought of this. I was thinking of hosting a community event for these people sometime around Christmas? I just want them to have somewhere or some place to go to meet new friends and just get fed properly and make this the best Christmas ever for them, I really do I just want to give something to them instead of some spare change. I realise I'm usually quite insensitive about this kind of stuff, but I just, It's times like this where you realise how lucky you are and I want to let the homeless people have something to love and something to call their own, I want you to love them too there's just got to be something or somewhere they can do on Christmas? I spoke to my mum about organizing something but she laughed at the thought of me doing this, I realise I'm 14 and no one will care but If I could get the right people involved then maybe, just maybe this Christmas won't be so cold after all. And this song below, always brings a tear to my eye and makes me think of these people. Because it really is true what Darlene says you know, Nobody ought'a be all alone for Christmas, they just shouldn't. It really isn't right.
