Arguably the most successful version of Big Brother in the world has returned for it's 11th series. It's been known to have 80%+ shares of the ratings and last year broke the record for the most votes cast in any reality show anywhere in the world with over 154m votes cast in the final. And for those who don't know, Big Brother Brazil has long had a successful hybrid of the original and US formats going on. Basically each week the Head of House (Lider) nominates one person, the other HMs vote for the second (and I think now a third) nominee and then the viewers choose who is evicted. They also have their version of the Veto - the "Angel", who not only saves a nominee but gets to dish out a punishment to a HM too. This year they have a Saboteur too, chosen by a vote after the premiere a few days ago. And they've revamped the house too: http://bbb.globo.com/sobre/a-casa.html
