No I wouldn't.

Example: young man working in a warehouse, earning £16k pa to keep him, his wife and a family of 5 children. The guy is out earning an honest crust and really finding it hard to make ends meet.

Manager who between he and his wife, raking in £100k pa. (Him £25k, the wife £75k).

We were all out having a cigarette - discussion on current supermarket offers crops up. Manager says he'd never be seen dead in Asda or Morrisons, it was full of chavs and they were minging. Nothing other than M&S, Waitrose etc for him - all the other stores were cheap and nasty.

I could have punched the manager. This same manager who literally grew up having nothing until he met his wife, had shopped in these places for years and had forgotten what it was like to struggle. Made the warehouse guy feel like an inch high.

Snobbery at it's very worst.

What happened: retribution: especially when said manager then broke up with his wife: and ended up living in a not so flashy 1 bed flat, trying to suddenly survive on his own with his £25k pa,, had t trade in his brand new Jag for a beat up Golf.
