Yeah lots of people do have reasons for not enjoying xmas and other holidays, but not all of them make a point of letting everyone know how much they hate it at every opportunity, it spoils the mood for the people who look forward to it, my opinion is if you dislike xmas then fair enough but don't be bitter because other people enjoy it, I lost my mum on valentines day and don't enjoy that anymore but I also don't feel a need to tell everyone how crap I think it is everytime they mention it.

I totally understand your point, but then, the same could be said about those being bitter (or annoyed perhaps may be a better word), simply because someone else is sayingthat they don't like it.

TBF, perhaps I simply haven't seen a lot of Arista's posts complaining about Xmas on other threads - so perhaps my perception may be skewed if there are many posts similar in other threads, if so, I can appreciate why you'd said what you have above, but I honestly haven't noticed them.

But if this thread has been raised for those who don't like Xmas to 'vent that', Im not really sure what harm it's doing.
