I watched this classic for the first time on Christmas Eve, and I still can't get over the ending.
The whole movie is fantastic, from the start to finish and I swear
'Push it to the Limit' is a ******ing amazing song from the film, omg.
But the ending.. is just.. like, draw dropping?
I just didn't see it coming, I mean the entire film is based around Tony's journey from rags to riches and becoming a drug lord and then at the end it's all took away and falls down around him, I really thought it would be that typical action film bollocks where the main character comes close to death but ends up surviving and there's a happy ending.
Even when Al Pacino fell into the pond, face down - I expected him to get back up and shoot all around him.. but no, then the movie's closing theme came on.
I guess the film has a really hard hitting moral to the story, and that's don't let your accomplishments go to your head - and take it all for granted because it can come crashing down on you like
that.. and always look behind you in gun battle.
But yes, did anyone else think Scarface's ending was beautifully done?
