Melodramatic tosh.
The central message is strong but they didn't need all the padding and the unnecessary reversal of straight/gay. Just doing a simple video of a tormented gay child/teenager would've sufficed to communicate the message. They tried to be clever and do a Black Mirror-esque premise but it failed.
