What annoys me is that Sam opened up to his friend and he is being accused of going for the sympathy vote and milking it. Sam has never moaned or even mentioned his difficulties before and look what happens when he does!
He HAS a disability and he or anyone else shouldn't be afraid to mention that fact as if it is something to be ashamed of. That is a separate issue from his ability. Sam is a smart, highly independent, down to earth young man with a good heart and a good sense of humour. But this thread isn't about his merits, it is about him talking about his disability.
