The original format of Big Brother was based around several strangers in a house, being watched constantly by a higher power - and the nation, for a prolonged period of time, with absolutely no contact with the outside world; at all. BB9 was the last series that really took that seriously, I was going to say CBB6 but there was a task that involved Shameless stars waving to Tina Malone. From 2009 onwards, the producers have gotten more and more cock sure of themselves and how much rules they can break. If you look at the original rules for the show and count how many have been broken in the past few series, as a huge fan - it's actually ridiculous to see. The sad part is, I think myself and alot of others are now becoming accustomed to Big Brother's constant bullsh*t. We're the only country in the world not to have 24 Hour live streaming, and I'm pretty sure no other country enforces this much outside contact onto housemates - in a desperate ploy to stir drama and chaos in the house. Oh, and in terms of them 'owning the show' - yeah they may, but Big Brother has always been a public show. It was the first reality show in history to actually directly involve the public in the goings on in the house. We have a say. It's our money that is spent voting to evict people, it's our money Channel 5 are so desperate to take to fund their Celebrity Seasons, it's our time that is spent watching the show - I mean for goodness sake, 'You Decide.' sums it all up, doesn't it? The producers should be thankful, that Big Brother UK especially - has a loyal fanbase, that yes whilst it may of decreased over the years, the remaining hardcore fans still voice their opinions and let them know what is and isn't working. 99% of other shows on television don't have that, at all - Big Brother's producers, if wise would be taking on our feedback instead of ignoring us CONSTANTLY, and actually put it into practice, then maybe they'd be able to pull in more than 3 Million viewers per night.
