Like...it didn't even show anything inside the stable? barely even dwelled on the idea of her being raped at all. idk what these idiots want film and television to be? "Oh rape never happens nope let's never show it in case it upsets someone".
I'm one of the first to get squeamish at television and film (why I've never really watched the Walking Dead) but I can't say anything in this yet has especially unsettled me in a visceral sense aside from the treasure-hunting old man and the fork. It's much more unsettling in a psychological sense.

Yeah, just some of the same old typical "Oh look at me I'm morally outraged" nonsense. They showed absolutely nothing in the implied rape scene, to the point where it's been theorised that he might not have even raped her in the first place. That's how unexplicit (idk if that's a word) and ambiguous it was so anyone claiming the show is being overly graphic is talking crap
I've seen a few other people say it's boring etc. It's slow paced but in a good way I feel, they're taking the time to establish the world and the characters and to actually let the story develop. I haven't felt bored once.
I'm just glad the vast majority of reviews have been really positive, it's one of the most genuinely intriguing and compelling shows I've watched in a while. My favourite thing on TV atm actually.
