There was nothing epic about it and if you think it was "epic" then you have exceedingly low standards. it was utterly pointless and just alienated people who voted for him to stay and continued to damage the format of the show.

Yes, so after 15 years of the show being on the air they have started doing this in the last 2 years. That's a rather new thing and unfortunately they get away with it and ruining the show even more than they already have because people like you lap it up.
