So it isn't even a case of being cancelled but granted one final season to cram in an ending but rather it seems to be ending exactly when it was planned to. A show neither ending earlier than hoped or going on too long, a rare breed nowadays 
There are so many showrunners out there who have the "keep it going as long as possible" attitude which is honestly just annoying and not great storytelling imo, kudos to this show for both having a plan and sticking to it (and Syfy for allowing them to). |
Couldn't agree more, it ruins potentially great shows too, for me a proper ending is vital. I know you disagree with me about Lost but imo they should have made that 2 seasons long max, also Dexter was ruined too
I'm about 5 episodes into Season 2 now with 12 Monkeys , it's getting really interesting
