It was bl**dy awful. And I think my brother gave it to me, but he denies it.

He came over to where I live and he was sniffling and blowing his nose. I said 'cold alert!' And I put my hand over my mouth.

He said, 'no it's hay fever'.

But it wasn't. And that night I got sweaty, and my nose started to run.

Then I started coughing during the night and in the morning I felt exhausted. Coughing my guts up, sneezing, sore throat and nose running.

Luckily I work from home so I managed to do something but not a lot.

The house food and drink went down so had to order some in, £5 delivery fee on Sunday! Total cost £55.

But feeling better now. Sir Elton John has my sympathy.
