I guess it boils down to two main issues. Do we get rid of the few to protect the many or do we put the rights of the few above the rights of the many. Do we work on the vague and fanciful notion that such people can be ‘reintegrated’ or do we focus on what is more important - the safety of the vast majority of British citizens including our children.
