The justice system in this country is a joke unfortunately. Sentences for those who commit violence or murder are ridiculously short, and ironically life rarely means life.

Did anyone see the Trevor Macdonald documentary - Death Row 2018 - earlier in the week? It really highlighted the differences in sentences for murder between America and Britain. America seems to judge murder much more seriously and if life sentences are given they do actually mean life. I'm not saying I support death sentences- that's another topic altogether- but I did feel frustrated with British justice whilst watching this documentary.
